Heneral Luna

           

           

Heneral Luna was one of the a great and wonderful Filipino film that I’ve watch, This film was great; it achieved to create what life was like in those time, What a time it would have been to be alive in that time, it reminded me a Jose Rizal film and others but this film is much better. It was a film that spoke of patriotic sacrifice and dedication which spread throughout the generations of Filipinos until even today I’ve even find parts in the film that we can relate to in today’s current generation.

             Heneral Luna was a courageous and valued military official. He gave all his power just to make of our country free from the occupation of the US military even there were a lot of difficulties and fight. My unforgettable line the he said was " what will you choose!? Business or freedom? Your country or yourself?" even now those line are still in my head. Those line really reflects to the Filipinos who always thinks only for themselves and not for something much more important.  Most of them during those days were against him because they were arrogant and always choose what are the best for them, just like what happening now. It seems that what problems before are same problems continue but with different generation.Heneral Luna is the gift of our country, so treasure the things that he do and make it better if possible.         

             I think every Filipino should watch this film. To remind them that there is something that can be done, not all is hopeless and that the Philippines is indeed worth fighting for. That even the most little action could lead to something, we have now the freedom and the technology, so don’t tell to me that you have no idea to help your countrymen. Even small things you do will count or even just smile your whole day so that the around you will be happy. Remember what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.
